Stroll down the alley of arbor vitae to enter the beautiful half-timbered courtyard. Sense the tranquility and old world atmosphere of this unique Louis XIII style castle of the Belmonts and Vanderbilts. You are greeted by present Castle owners or staff in the tradition of Gilded Age extravagance inspired by Medieval Revelry.

At most events (except weddings, unless specifically requested) an informal guided tour expounding the Castles rich social history leads guests to the room chosen for the reception, because guests will be curious about the unique art treasures which adorn the beautiful rooms.

A wedding ceremony held in the French Gothic Ballroom is a fairy tale come true.

Visualize tantalizing displays of creative foods on a priceless antique tables or sideboards. Expect elegant glassware and silver, fine china and linens with superb catered service and the finest cuisine to create the kind of ambience found in European castles or nineteenth century millionaire's residences. Even with a modest budget for catering, the elegance remains.
The maitre d' announces dinner with an antique Chinese bell. The Italian Banquet Hall has been set most elegantly - according to your special requirements. Champagne or wines are carefully poured for each guest as the courses from appetizer to dessert flow smoothly to the meal's conclusion. The experience is made so much more perfect when there is fabulous entertainment.

After dinner dancing to a fine band or professional Disc Jockey in the Ballroom or Banquet Hall, cordial service in the English Library, your awards ceremony, the Birthday cake, a short recital or choral concert, guest speaker of your choosing can be added to extend the evening.
