Touring can be a "spirit"-ual experience, when "SPIRITS are willing.
Miss Virginia Smith, world traveler, presents her often revised ghost tour. She reveals the what, where, why and when of hauntings here and abroad. "I don't seek out these spirits" she says dramatically, "they find me".

That Belcourt Castle has ghosts has not been disputed by successive occupants since 1956. "I don't think the house itself is haunted" says Harle Tinney, the castle's owner "Our ghosts came along with some of the antiques, particularly the monk". The MONK came with a curious 17th century German woodcarving. More than one visitor has reported seeing a lifelike monk appear a step away from the stature. A moment later he disappears.

strongly in the live demonstration of the "Haunted Chair".

Ghost tours are regularly scheduled most Thursdays. Call for reservations.

Other dates require a 20 person minimum and are subject to availability because the tour is conducted only by Miss Smith and Harle Tinney of Belcourt Castle.

Ghost tour Basic Schedule:
Arrival and Greeting (5-10 minutes)
Slide presentation (40 minutes)
Guided tour (30 minutes)
Live demonstrations (10-20 minutes according to the reactions)
Add refreshments, formal silver tea - cocktails and/or dinner for a complete late afternoon or evening of entertainment.

Total program is 90 minutes
